Springer has confirmed a Transformative Agreement with the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE) and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) on March 30^th.

Authors from all 58 affiliated Universities of Crue-CSIC, responsible for over 90% of scientific research production in Spain, will be able to publish Open Access (OA) in over 2,300 Springer and Addis journals. Affiliated researchers from Crue-CSIC institutions will also have full access to all Springer and Addis subscription journal content. The start date of publication is expected near summer this year.

A similar agreement has been reached with Elsevier and Wiley
